Mission Call

Bob and I submitted our mission papers a few weeks ago before leaving for Reno to spend Christmas with our kids there. With the holidays, we didn't expect to receive the call until after we got back, maybe sometime during the week of Dec. 28. On Saturday, while finishing up a birthday party for Bob and right before going to the Reno airport to fly home, we got a text that our mission call arrived in the mail at home. With the one group gathered with us in Reno and one group gathered at our house in Sterling, we put them on speaker to read to us where we will be serving.
We are happy to report that we are going to Athens, Greece! We report to the Provo MTC on March 29 and will serve for 18 months as office specialists. We are not sure what that entails but we are excited to learn more about our future as missionaries.

  3. I love the timing of getting the call. It was so fun for all of us in Nevada to be with you when you got the news. Our family is so excited about it. We are spending the next few FHE's learning facts about Greece.
